Les premières infos sont tombés : Jackman, Saldana et Galifianakis au casting, et le réal est celui de Paranorman.
Contrairement aux précédents films du studio, c'est produit par Annapurna.

Le film a pour titre Missing Link.

L’histoire est celle de Sir Lionel Frost, un détective spécialisé dans les monstres. Celui-ci est bien décidé à prouver l’existence de Mr Link, une créature légendaire qui vivrait dans le Nord-Ouest pacifique. Frost sera accompagné d’Adelina Fortnight, une aventurière qui possède la carte secrète permettant d’accéder à la créature qu’ils recherchent.
